Borderlands 2 Classes and Weapon Manufacturer Trailer

I'm going to miss Mordecai. We spent many hours together in the original Borderlands, sniping, vault hunting, and sicking Bloodwing on bandits and space bugs. I wish we could continue our adventure in Borderlands 2, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. The Assassin is taking the Hunter's slot in the upcoming loot fest, and that's not the only class swap Gearbox has in mind. Get an overview of the new cast of characters at your disposal in the latest trailer for Borderlands 2.

Sounds crazy given the thousands of weapon customization options available in the original Borderlands, but when it came right down to it, there really wasn't a discernible difference between the many shotguns, sniper rifles, and hand cannons manufactured by the likes of Hyperion, Dahl, and Jakobs. Gearbox aims to fix that issue in Borderlands 2, making each weapon brand look, feel, and do damage in its own unique way. Start choosing your brand now with the help of three trailers-as-commercials for Maliwan, Tediore, and Vladof.

These are just three of the weapon manufacturers in Borderlands 2. We also know there will also be Bandit, Jakobs, Torgue, Dahl, and Hyperion. We'll update this post with any future trailers/details to help you decide which brand to support. I'm a Jakobs fan from the original, but so far, I'm buying what Maliwan is selling.
