Gears of War 3 'Forces of Nature' DLC detailed

The new maps are called Aftermath, Artillery, and Cove, while Jacinto and Raven Down make their return. Aftermath is a park after being hit by a tsunami, leaving debris and a ship strewn about. Artillery has intermittent lightning storms and a tornado kicks up dust that makes it hard to see. Cove similarly obscures your vision with a thick later of fog. The remake maps, Jacinto and Raven Down, have added their own weather conditions. Jacinto has become overgrown and flooded with imulsion, and will periodically rain. Raven Down takes place in the middle of a heavy snowstorm, which reduces visibility.

Artillery (Lightning Cleaver)

The pack will also include four "Elemental Cleaver" weapons. As examples, the report cites the "snow cleaver" that can stun enemies, or the "emulsion cleaver" that bursts on impact and does burning damage to anyone nearby. Finally, the pack gives four new character models and five weapon skins that can be used from the start, plus two unlockable weapon skins. Forces of Nature will be the final pack included for Season Pass owners. If you buy it individually, it will be $10 (800 MSP).

PC Perspective Live Review Recap: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680

If you haven't seen the video yet, you should definitely do so; Tom does a great job explaining the new technology involved with the Kepler GPU. One caveat: the recording process was a bit off and the recording actually starts just a few minutes AFTER we actually began the live stream. Sorry!
