Arkham City Inspired Test

Quote Being a fan of the new Batman Arkham City game, I thought this video was pretty neat. Someone send this girl a Catwoman or Batgirl outfit. Big grin I can't wait for the PC version of this game to come out next week. This is why I started to like Hardocp.com just something different to watch and read I hope you enjoy the video as much as I'm going to enjoy the game.

Consoles

Microsoft might be revealing there new console at CES January 2012 next year along with Windows 8 followed with a Beta and I can't wait especially for the New console. Whats going to be New besides the Metro interface that's going to be in the dashboard update coming soon more support for Kinect, Windows Phone 8, DirectX 11, Blu-ray support would be nice and I really hope it's backward compatible with older Xbox 360 games. Gears of War 3 would be good enough for me, I cant see Microsoft killing backward compatibly on there newer console will have to wait and see what happens but there's one thing for sure I'll be getting one. I really hope Sony launch's there new console Next year because Microsoft would too but I doubt it.

Benchmarks

The Core i7-3960X and Core i7-3930K at $990 and $599 crushes the AMD FX-8150, hell the Core i7-2600K can easily beat AMD FX-8150 bulldozer. Would I ever pay $990 for a high end CPU from Intel No, if I had to build a system today I would pick the Core i7-2700K with the higher clock speed and still beat AMD FX-8150 over all the scores don't lie check out the Review from Maximum PC, Xbitlabs and Anandtech below. Listening to Maximum PC podcast and they there talking about HDD prices going up so I headed over to Newegg to be shocked, the Seagate Barracuda Green ST2000DL003 2TB 5900 was $79 some where around there now there priced at $229 I could of got two for the price of one a month. The prices are that high now a 500GB would run you in $149 this flood in thailand is crazy.

More Work

Windows 7 maybe rock sold but I just continue to see the work that's needed to be done like in Disk Management NO Extended Partitions just Simple the only way to create a Extended Partition would be to use disk part in the Command Prompt, why the hell did Microsoft do this I had to create the partitions using Disk Management then Convert them using EASEUS Partition Master. If I would format the partitions using Microsoft's Disk Management it would be only a simple format aka Primary Partition noting to do with Extended Partition with Logical drives in the Extended Partition. Also the Start Menu right click on a Icon Pin to Start Menu, if Privacy is disabled in the Start Menu Tab under Taskbar and Start Menu Properties you can NOT show all the Pined Icons because Privacy is disabled. Enabling the settings gives you the options to select how many you want to show using Start Menu Size again what a mess and I though to get away from the Quick Launch I guest I was wrong. Will I be getting Windows 8 Yes but it wont be my main OS, I'll be keeping Windows 7 until there's a new DX update or something better then what I have now.
