Microsoft Office 2013, Launches Customer Preview




Just as predicted, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer finally revealed Office 2013 on Monday during a press conference in San Francisco. The company also launched the Office 2013 Customer Preview which can be downloaded here.

As previously reported, this next release features an intuitive design that works with touch, stylus, mouse or keyboard inputs across Windows-based devices, including tablets. The suite is even highly sociable, adding services like Yammer and Skype. Want cloud support? Microsoft Office 2013 has that too.

Kinect Hack to Create the Ultimate Interactive Music




Since its release, the Microsoft Kinect has been used by many innovative minds to create some incredible things. Today's latest jaw-dropping Kinect hack is called the V Motion Project. Essentially a motion-based virtual synthesizer, the project hopes to create the ultimate interactive live music experience combined with incredible visuals.

Created by a group of tech savvy producers, musicians and visual artists, the project was created using BiKinect and Ableton Live audio software, allowing them to create a map o body movements and corresponding controls.
