How Not To Handle LN2 101

I am pretty sure surgical gloves do not count as safety equipment. It is a miracle this guy still has fingers.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 development continuing

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 developer GSC Game World hinted in December that there was "cause for hope," following reports that the troubled Ukranian studio was shutting down. "Official news" was expected in January, and now it's confirmed: work on the survival shooter sequel will continue. "The Stalker team is extremely happy! Why? Because we are continuing work on Stalker 2 after the holidays," reads a message posted yesterday by the official Facebook account.

Samsung's 40-inch Microsoft Surface

Even though it's not exactly a bleeding edge concept anymore with tablets everywhere you look, Microsoft's Surface technology is still cool. On display at the Samsung booth at CES 2012 is the SUR40, which is a 1080p 40-inch LCD that runs the latest Microsoft Surface software.

CES 2012 Demonstration FAIL of the Day

I know it is still early but, if they give out an award for "best demonstration of FAIL" at CES this year, I think Intel definitely has a lock on it with this DX11 Ultrabook presentation. Look mom, no hands!

30-Story Building Built in China in Only 360 Hours

I don’t know what it is with the Chinese and lightning fast building, but we ran a story a couple of years ago about a very similar construction project. In any case, this is an impressive achievement on any level. Ignoring the fact that the building is pre-fab, doing anything on this scale in 15 days is a knockout. Earthquake resistant, energy efficient and built quickly; what’s not to like?

Sphero Robotic Ball

Sphero is simple and that's what we love about it. All it is is a tennis ball-sized ball that can be controlled with your iOS or Android device. It's waterproof and has a multi-color light inside that makes it just about the perfect toy for your household pets. The cool thing about Sphero is that it revolves around a number of apps and games that the company has created.
