If Vaas, the mohawked Far Cry 3 villain Ubisoft has been touting up to this point, is tough, Hoyt Volker is armageddon. In the latest in its Survival Guide series of trailers, Ubisoft warns players who plan on visiting South Island to beware of Volker and his highly trained privateer army. Thankfully, if the two seconds of footage halfway through the video are anything to go on, we'll have a powerful ally on our side: man-eating cheetahs!
Perhaps I should describe the cheetah as a temporary ally. We see the protagonist attacked by the jungle cat early on in the trailer and then at roughly the 1:20 mark, a cheetah appears to be leading the charge into Volker's camp. Evidently I'm obsessed with cheetahs in Far Cry 3. Moving on! Get the lowdown on Volker and South Island.
