A programmer whose daughter wanted Pauline to be the heroine of Donkey Kong got her wish with a role reversal and Pauline becoming Mario’s rescuer. Mike Mika did a little hacking of the NES version to produce the desired outcome, which in this case, was one very happy daughter.
