My trusty interest meter is now pinned in the red. I just watched the 13-minute Metro: Last Light E3 2012 developer walkthrough, and when it ended, I had to blink and shake my head to pull myself out of the richly detailed, deeply immersive post-apocalyptic game world. And that was from simply watching the thing. I can't imagine how lost I'll become in Last Light once I'm at the controls.
As a fan of Metro 2033, Last Light was already on my 2013 Buy List. Courtesy of this walkthrough, with its delightful details like wiping rain and blood away from your gas mask, it's now near the very top.
