20 Minutes of Resident Evil 6 Gameplay

Leon Kennedy shot the president. Well, a zombified, flesh-hungry POTUS, but still, that can't be good for the old resume. Capcom dropped 20 mintues of Resident Evil 6 gameplay on us today, and in the opening sequence, the undead leader of the free world takes a bullet. Spoilers be damned! So go on ahead and push play if you don't mind ruining a few surprises in RE6.

It's looking like Resident Evil 6 is going to feel like somewhere in between the run-and-gun mentality of the Resident Evils 4 and 5, and the more calculated, slow pace of the earlier games in the series. I like that they seem to be taking a step backwards, as RE5 felt a bit too... shooty for me. Resident Evil 6 is out October 2, but if you can't wait, I'd recommend just watching these videos over and over again while holding a controller in your hands. It'll be almost like the real thing.
