The ArmA series remains a breath of fresh air for those looking to get away from the Call of Duty formula of first-person shooter, with an emphasis on realism rather than explosive arcade-style action. The vast open terrain lends the game some truly incredible vistas, and there's nary a series of corridors to be found.
