Every Tuesday there's ether updates from Microsoft or DVD's today I though there was DVD's but it turns out it was Star Wars The Clone Wars Season Three way better then the first three star wars movies not the old ones. Anyway I'll be watching this tonight and installing Windows 7 (64-bit) the same time Awesome, like a kid in the candy store. Also Asuite does work Windows 7 so again everything is looking good, it's really nice moving forward also Windows 7 will be out two years Oct 22, 2011 just in time. That way I'll get five or six years out of the OS with three hardware upgrades not the full PC just Motherboard CPU and Ram.
Future
So last night I moved all my data from the Western Digital D1001FALS Black (NAS) backup drive on my server two a Seagate Barracuda Green ST2000DL003 2TB drive because I'm installing Windows 7 (64-bit) on the WD1001FALS Black and 8GB's of RAM in my system. Since I only have Dead Space 2 left to play and noting else I said the hell with it I'm moving on to something new enough living in the past a nice clean start on everything, the only applications I want to work are DVD Shrink, ASuite, and WordPerfect 12 I know it's old but it has all I need. All my Top Applications also work with Windows 7 even my Mouse and Keyboard support (64-bit) looking good.
DONE!
This won't be long fired up the PC today and started Dead Space 2 only to have the game all fucked up I'm guesting it was the tweak to enable better anti aliasing because all games are console ports, so with all of that shit I been trough the last four or five days I done for good. The PC is not a gaming machine just for casual games like Command and Conquer, The Witcher 2, StarCraft II and The Sims 3 witch by the way looks better when you can enable anti aliasing through Nvidia's Control Panel NOT through utility's like Nvidia's inspector what a wast of time this has turned out to be. At this point I much rather give them $59.99 for the Console at less I would have trophies or achievements. What I doing now uninstalling every game on the PC I'm fucking done, can't wait for the new PSVita this year or the next ether way I be getting one plus the new Xbox next year I'll be more then willing to give Microsoft $500 the first day of launch never again will I look at PC Gaming like I did six years ago. The PC is NOT a Gaming system and no I'm not talking about playing two games for 14 months OK PC Gaming is Fucked! R.I.P PC.
DONE!
Playing GTA IV without anti-aliasing support might as well play the damn thing on the Console I already had it for the Xbox 360 but never finished it, so I said I'll get it on the rebound for the PC and I wish I hadn't. Come on what console ports it's got that bad now I can't keep looking up How to enable anti-aliasing or spending 40 mins plus six or seven times rebooting the fucking games I done with this. Dead Space 2 I guest will be with me for along time it's the last one I'll be playing on the PC. Hell The Sims 3 looks better then GTA IV at lease I can enable anti-aliasing through Nvidia's control panel. Also I'll get Windows 7 April 2014 when Windows XP supports ends. I'm also getting back into consoles more then ever and keeping my blog Xbox-existence up to date noting else to do with the PC beside rip edit and burn or listen to music, might pick backup where I left off with Windows 7. Taking back Grand Theft Auto 4 Liberty City I'm sick of console ports not hard to become a console fan boy just keep selling us this shit on the PC, said it before and I'll say again PC Gaming is Fucked! So total I spend about one week fucking around with settings the last 6 years I much rather have no anti-aliasing support for consoles then put up with this. Tessellation and anti-aliasing support have been available over 10 years I think you can fine a Article on tomshardware about this something I didn't know. Don't worry there be lots of DirectX 11 games to come when the New Consoles launch next year and I'll be first in line. R.I.P PC
AMD C-50 Radeon HD 6250
Customer finely came for the notebook I did last week, was there that all I forgot about it. What had to be done burn the Manufacturer's restore four disc total that would of ran them $85 in town, I couldn't be leave it what high prices to charge someone. I also cleaned up the system like removing Bloatware dumping logs checking them, updating the system looking for firmware updates the same old performance and maintenance routine. They have other one coming next week same thing performance and maintenance routine, this one will be cheaper then $60 because the girlfriend gives the prices $25 should be good enough. I'm also thinking about getting the Onkyo HT-S3400 5.1 Channel Home Theater system because the one I have now is ten years old so time for upgrade.
How to Enable AA in Dead Space 2
As a result of the basic edge-detect AA method, Dead Space 2 suffers quite badly from jagged edges and pixel creep. These problems aren’t all that obvious while on the move but if you stand still you’ll definately see that most straight edges in the game are jagged. The issue is of course exacerbated by the fact that you spend most of the game in boxy corridors with lots of straight lines. Unfortunately it’s not possible to change the method of AA the game uses via the in-game menus. In fact the only AA option available is a simple on/off toggle in the Visuals menu. As a result you’ll need to get down and dirty in your graphics driver if you want the game to look its best.
