Today, Nvidia announced that its PC gaming optimization tool, GeForce Experience, is now out of closed beta and available for all to try. The software uses hardware detection and a proprietary cloud database to find and set the ideal drivers and graphics settings for whatever game you're running.
The system supports 41 games in total, with today's release adding FarCry 3, Mechwarrior Online, and Hawken, and is growing fast. The company has tested each title on thousands of system configurations, providing a robust database of optimal settings which can be accessed seamlessly by users.
Nvidia has also expanded the range of hardware supported, now offering detection for Intel Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad processors, as well as optimal playable settings for 2560x1440 displays. To learn more about the open beta and the most recent release, check out Nvidia's blog post.
